It's simple, really. I have had the same, indestructible Pelican case for over ten years. I'm a police officer and would carry my personal camera gear every day at work in trunk of my squad with this case as well as any time I traveled. Recently, I replace the old film gear with new digital stuff and moaned over having to buy a new case. Instead, I purchased the new foam set. Money well spent. The cases are fantastically well built and the foam made in the interior like new. I expect to continue using this case for years, even decades to come. Adorama was as great to work with on this purchase as they have been with my others. I'm particular about where I get my gear as I depend on it more than most. If I don't get it locally, I get it from them.
